Project Abstract

During 2005 and 2006, Roger Jeter has worked closely with Compassion's Information Technology Department to improve their project management capabilities and to assist them in addressing resource management issues during a time of rapidly growing demand for IT services.


Ministry Abstract

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

Founded by Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean war orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training.

Today, Compassion helps more than 728,800 children in more than 20 countries.

Releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name

In response to the Great Commission, Compassion International exists as an advocate for children, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults.

Changing the world one child at a time

Compassion focuses on spiritual, physical, economic and social needs of children. Our Child Sponsorship Program has the following bases. We are:

          opportunity to hear the gospel in an
          age-appropriate and culturally
          relevant way.

          as a complete person, we treat
          children like we'd want our own
          children treated.

  • Church Based. We partner with
          churches, parents and communities
          - to teach, train and mentor children.

          dedicated to delivering excellent
          programs with complete integrity.

    Roger has worked with us to develop a formal approach for a new method of contracting/outsourcing for IT resources. This allows us to balance our internal staff with external staff to meet the ever changing resource levels required to respond to our customers’ needs.
