Ministry Abstract

Russia Inland Mission is a small mission board focused on church planting in the former Soviet states, of which many are closed to traditional missionaries. RIM operates under a Humanitarian Aid business model to assure the access to and stability in these countries.

In addition to church planting and personal evangelism, RIM operates a Russian Language & Culture school for new missionaries, builds and remodels housing for highly distressed families, builds schools, hosts medical and optometry clinics, drills wells, imports and distributes tons of used clothing and medical supplies and a variety of other projects that endear the ministry to the community. RIM's most valued and most rewarding aid project is the establishment of a virtual orphanage program, where missionaries identify at-risk children and provide medical, nutritional and counseling sources for the children and their families.
