Ministry Abstract

Baptist Bible College & Seminary exists for the primary purpose of preparing men and women for Christian ministry careers. Our mission is to provide excellence in biblical education for effectiveness in ministry leadership. As a comprehensive educational institution, we offer thirty-four degree programs from the one-year Bible certificate to the Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Philosophy degrees, including the Bachelor of Science in Bible and several master's degrees.

As one of the top Bible colleges in the nation, Baptist Bible College is committed to preparing men and women for leadership in life and ministry. With an emphasis on academic excellence and hands-on experience, BBC is focused on equipping students to think and live in ways that impact the world and shape the culture.

Baptist Bible Graduate School provides a quality academic experience from a thoroughly biblical perspective. The Master of Science in Counseling Ministries prepares students for career ministries in professional counseling and the Master of Science in Christian School Education deepens the knowledge and skills of professional educators.

Baptist Bible Seminary equips pastors, missionaries, and educators for Bible teaching churches and ministries all over the world. Each course of study at BBS is designed to provide excellence in academic scholarship, to ignite a passion for God and people, and to teach effective ministry methods for service.

History
Baptist Bible College was founded in 1932 in Johnson City, New York. For its first thirty-six years, the College used the facilities of First Baptist Church in Johnson City. As the student body grew from the first enrollment of forty students, the College gradually purchased and built some buildings of its own. In the 1960s, the need for a new campus became evident. In 1968, Pennsylvania Governor William Scranton assisted in locating the Clarks Summit campus for the school. Classes began in the Seminary in 1972 and in the Graduate School in 1989.

Testimonials

"Those of us at Baptist Bible College have deeply appreciated CPM Solutions involvement in reviewing our operational process. We realized that many of our systems and policies, once effective for a smaller ministry, were no longer appropriate as our organization had grown in size and complexity. Roger identified several key areas for improvement, mobilized our administrative team in making needed changes, and left us with tools to measure future performance. Most importantly, he was a change agent while affirming our unique organizational culture. BBC is a better organization as a result of his involvement."

Hal Cross
Chief Financial Officer

“Roger Jeter was of significant assistance to the ministry of Baptist Bible College and Seminary through an operational audit of our entire operation. Our personnel found the team led by Roger to be easy to work with and helpful. The report was returned to us in a very timely way in a clear overview and detailed suggestions for improvement. Our Administrative team carefully reviewed and considered all of the recommendations, determined which ones were appropriate for us at this time and made changes in our operations. The results of this process led to greater efficiency, better stewardship of human resources, finances and facilities, and resources available to advance the mission of the school.”

Dr. James E. Jeffery
President

"Mr. Jeter's unique combination of gifts, skills, experience and sacrificial commitment to fulfill the Great Commission resulted in a volume of accurate recommendations to improve alignment and close gaps in finances, people and processes. He was professional, gracious and godly in all of his interactions with employees and demonstrated a sensitivity to our mission and organizational history and culture. His insightful recommendations have resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings and improved efficiencies and effectiveness with relatively little pain. God has blessed us through our relationship with Mr. Jeter and we value his friendship and look forward to his future involvement with our ministry."
